Jaden turns 16 and is ordained a Priest

Along with all the Sunday festivities, Jaden was ordain to the office of a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood.  Tucker, Neal and I drove out to Herriman for the ordination.  It was at 4:00 p.m. right after Sacrament Meeting in the Bishops office.  Both sets of grandparents were there along with Jaden's family and his Uncle and the Bishop.  Standing in the circle was Tucker (uncle), Neal (grandfather), Dan (grandfather) Jaden's dad, Greg and the Bishop.  Jaden's father did the ordination.  After he was congratulated the Bishop told Jaden that he was a great example to the youth in the ward along with Taylor.  He wanted them both to be aware of that and live up to setting a good example.  Neal and Tucker and I headed back home to get things ready for dinner.

When I got home, the tables were all set beautifully, thanks to Abby and Jordyn Lyn.  What a nice relief to have everything ready to go.

Annie and Jamie were outside on the patio and had almost all the chicken cooked by the time we got back from the ordination.  Because of Lynda Ann, Jamie and the girls we were ready to sit down for dinner at 5:30 sharp.
