After we finish golfing, we end up at Lila Mae’s where we have a delicious barbeque followed by a couple hours of bingo for the kids and the adults and horse shoes. Annie always gets creative when it comes to any holiday and the 4th of July is no exception. Take a look at her patriotic cookies. They were delicious!! The evening finds us all out in the driveway waiting for the fireworks to go off on top of Memorial Hill. We had a fun day today and returned home about 11:30 p.m. Tired and a little sun burned but very happy.
Horse shoes. Lynda Ann and Jeff against Neal and Les. Neal and Les won both games. Annie and Jeff are going to have to do some practicing!!
Bingo and prizes galore! Susan always outdoes herself when she prepares the kids for bingo. Every kid usually comes home with a piggy bank with $2.00 worth of change in it. At the end of the bingo game we play black out and the first person to fill the card gets the grand prize. Mallory won the grand prize. A bank with $10.00 in it. She is saving for a new flute so that will help. I did catch a snap shot of Lynda Ann sleeping with Maggie taking a nap with her.
