Peyton climbed behind the Christmas tree and was carefully inspecting one of the large Christmas ornaments. Somehow it fell off the tree and shattered as it hit the floor. Pa said, “Oh know, that was a $6.00 bulb!” We all have moments of saying things and then wishing we could immediately take them back. I’m sure that was one of those moments for Grandpa. Peyton felt terrible and I’m sure it scared her. Jamie and I were shopping at Quilted Bear yesterday and saw this huge ornament (twice the size as the one Peyton dropped) and decided to get it for Peyton to give to Pa. There can always be a happy ending. And, oh yes, this one only cost $10.00 on sale!!
