More cancer issues

When Neal had his first cancer surgery on his nose the doctor took a biopsy of another area on the side of his nose that he was concerned about.  The biopsy came back malignant.  Dang!  So we made another appointment with Dr. Bowen to see how we would proceed with this new finding.  Neal will basically do the same thing he did last time.  He will use some special cream on the area for three weeks and then go in for surgery to have the second spot removed.  This one is on the side of his nose right down by his cheek.  He starts the cream treatment tomorrow.
Dr.Bowen found a growth on Neal's chest that he wasn't concerned about but because it was where his shirt would rub on it he sliced it off.

I found out that Dr. Bowen grew up in Provo and graduated from Provo High School.  He is way younger than I am.  He graduated 79 and I graduated in 62.  Funny thing is that he lived up on 'snob hill' (as we so fondly called it) and he knew a lot of the younger brothers and sisters of my friends.  Small world, isn't it?  What really made me smile is that Neal is the one who usually connects with people, not me.  This was a switch for sure.
