Mallory’s service club, at Stansbury High, had an assignment to help monitor the crowds at the Festival of Trees. They were assigned a certain area and had to stand for four hours as people came through. Their job was to make sure people didn’t go under the ropes and didn’t touch the displays. She said it was interesting and tiring. She also commented on the stories of why the trees were decorated. Some very sad and touching stories. I met Mallory there after work and took her to dinner and then the two of us went back and wandered around and, of course, into the gift shop. We both bought a few things and were happy about our purchases knowing that all the money goes to the Primary Children’s Hospital.
Mallory found the Charlie Brown Christmas tree so we had to take a picture of her by that tree.
