Emmi text and called us to tell us that they were passing through the Strait of Gibraltar. She said she could see Africa and Europe. Amazing! What an adventure she is having. COVID is messing with their ability to port and get off the ship but hopefully they will be able to see some of the countries they are passing. She did say that they originally going to get off and spend a couple days in France but the French Government was demanding too many things that were just not feasible for navy personnel. Emmi isn't a great lover of the French or the country so didn't seem to mind all that much. They are hoping they will be able to see some of Greece. I had to get on the computer and do a little research on the Strait of Gibraltar. Here are some pictures.
