Our trip to California

I always look forward to the times that Neal and I get to fly to California to spend time with Tucker, Jamie and the girls.  It is always a relaxing time and I love that.  We don't have to be on the go every minute and have lots of visiting and catching up.  This trip has been perfect so far.  We actually got to the airport on "my time"  and had about 40 minutes to just relax before we boarded the plane.  Neal and I went through process of getting our TSA Pre Pass which made going through the s
the security line fast and easy.  We arrived in Fresno at 4:30 and Tucker was waiting for us.  When we were loading our suitcases in the trunk, Tucker said, "Where's your clubs."  Goodness, Neal and I had completely forgotten that we had check his golf clubs!  The clubs were found and we were on our way.

Of course we are most interested in how Tucker's new job is going selling solar panels and he said things were going great.  These are the handouts he has created to promote his business.

He has created a deal for customers that if they give him a referral and the referral orders panels from him they he will give them a $500.00 cash reward.  He said that he has one lady who wants to buy something for her house and has already referred him to two people who have ordered solar panels from him.  Great idea Tucker.

Some fun pictures:

Tucker made us a delicious dinner the first night we were there.  The presentation was, of course, excellent.
During the course of dinner preparation, Jordyn Lyn and Tucker had to throw a couple limes in the air and slice them in half mid air.  With a couple tries and a very sticky floor the were both able to cut one almost in the very center!  Quite impressive, but don't do it in my kitchen!

After dinner, Tucker wanted us all to play his newly acquired Table Soccer game.  It was incredibly interesting to watch the different personalities some out.  At one time we had Jordyn Lyn and Lexi on one team and Peyton and Tucker on the other.  Jordyn Lyn and Lexi just plain had fun and were happy when they made a goal and laughed when Tucker and Peyton made a goal.  However, Peyton and Tucker are two of a kind - they take after Neal.  Very intent, intense and determined.  It almost becomes a no laugh game for them.  It is all about winning.  But, everyone had a very fun time.

Just as an after thought, I suck at this game!!
We missed Jamie completely.  She was over helping getting the auditorium prepared for the big dance recital.  We all went to bed before she even got home.

Friday morning the girls and Jamie were off to the auditorium again to practice and prepare every thing.  Tucker, Neal and I went to do a little bit of shopping.  Tucker wanted to make cashew turtles and chocolate covered caramels while Neal was here so part of our trip was finding all the ingredients.  We also stopped in REI to purchase a couple things and then a special sock store for socks for Tucker and Neal.
Of course Tucker got a picture of Neal on the way home from shopping!
