This cactus is so gorgeous that every time it decides to bloom, I have to take a picture or two of it. It is supposed to bloom in December and this year it only had about three blossoms on it and I assumed it was done for the year. Then one morning as I was watering it, I noticed little buds popping out all over the place and this is the finished product. I’ve heard people say that the desert in the spring is gorgeous because of all the blooming plants. I’ve never witnessed it, but if half the cactus are as elegant as this one in my room, then the desert must be a sight to behold.
