Abby's Bridal Shower

What a fun evening.  It took effort from the whole group to pull this shower off.  Mostly, Lynda Ann.  She made some beautiful table decorations and, of course, they were amazing.  The food was delicious and everything went so smoothly.  There were more than 30 people at the shower and I think everyone had a nice time.  I took a bunch of pictures.  They may show up rather random but at least they are recorded for our family history.

Me and Emmi in our striped shirts.  Love this granddaughter and so fun to have her here from Hawaii!

Family members who attended.  We missed Mindy.  She had a family emergency which prevented her from coming.  We missed you Mindy.

We had to completely empty my fridge to get all the prepared food for the shower into the fridge.  We took a cooler, put in ice and filled it up with all the food I had in my fridge to make room for the shower food.

Mallory cutting pictures and putting them in frames for the shower.  It seemed that everyone had an assignment.  Emmi and Abby were running multiple errands!
Beginning of the serving table settings.

This is the decorations on the front room tables.  So cute.
Tucker took such cute engagement pictures of Abby and Antonio.

These were the 'thank you' gifts that Annie created for everyone who came to the shower.  I forgot to grab mine so as soon as I get one back from Annie, I'll have to post what the card said and what was inside.
Such a cute couple!!
Decorations on top of the piano.
First arrival of many.
Susan and Abby visiting.

Table all set for the shower.  The display of food was incredible.  Annie did an amazing job.

Brinkley needed to be in one of the pictures.  So cute how he is looking up for Mallory's approval.

Mallory, Emmi and Maren.  They didn't plan it but I love that it goes from tallest to shortest!  You girls are darling!

The shower was a glowing success.  More than 30 people came.  Everyone seemed to have a fun time visiting and getting caught up.  Abby received lots of really nice presents.  She had registered on Amazon so she will be getting a lot in the mail.  We are all so happy for the bride and groom to be and look forward to next week when they will be united as a couple.  July 21st is the big day!

The highlight of the evening for me was that I got to see and visit with Maralyn.  We were so close when our children were growing up.  Lots and lots of fun memories with her.  Talking on the phone every day and spending countless hours with her and Richard at their home and Hintzes.  I shall love this incredible woman forever.
