Neal Scouting

Neal has encouraged and gently pushed a bunch of boys in our stake to get the eagle scout projects done before they are too old and because the church has phased out the scout program from the churches program.  Because of that, these boys stepped up and got their projects done and so that put the pressure on Neal to get a bunch of neckerchief slides done.  He has been working for the past month, every spare minute he has to get these done.  They are miraculously all done and now all need to be painted.  Way to carve, Neal!
This is a log with a hatchet that will be planted in the log.
Football helmet
 The whole group.
 Obvious, right?
This is a frying pan with an egg in it.  When it is painted, the egg will be much more obvious.  It actually originally had a longer handle but the handle broke so it is a short handled frying pan.
 Polar Bear
I believe this is Alma the Younger.  Of course, what Neal imagaines he looks like.
There is also a red panda but for some reason I didn't get a picture of that one.  I'll post it when he gets it painted.  I would add here that he wished he had Abby or Emmi here to paint the eyes and the nose on the polar bear - because both girls are artistic.

More pictures will be published when the slides are completed and numbered.
