First Snow of the Season

We were hit with our first snow storm on Sunday morning.  Still October.  It has to be an early storm and we are having record cold weather to go along with it.  I have to admit it was beautiful and I took a couple pictures and sent them to Emmi who is living in Florida right now.

I have to admit that it is kind of exciting and very pretty.  Every season has it's own unique beauty to it.
