Mallory and I had and amazing day on Saturday. We had the opportunity to visit another of our beautiful Utah Temples. President Nelson taught: "Everything taught in the temple, through instruction and through the Spirit, increases our understanding of Jesus Christ. His essential ordinances bind us to Him through sacred priesthood covenants. Then as we keep our covenants, He endows us with His healing, strengthening power."
President Nelson also taught: "the reward for keeping covenants with God is heavenly power - power that strengthens us to withstand our trials, temptations, and heartaches better. This power eases our way."
I know that this is true. Thank you Mallory for another beautiful day in the temple with you. I tell her she is keeping me on the straight and narrow!
After the session we drove to the Olive Garden and had a delicious lunch and then to the clothing store Colby & Claire where I bought me a temple dress that zips up the front. So hard on Tuesday mornings to fuss with a back zipper. Especially at 4:00 a.m.!!!
