First of all I want to post these cute signs that Hayley made for the 4th and gave to Neal and I. So creative and we love them Hayley.
Our day began by playing golf in the morning. Then we headed off to Centerville for Nelden’s 70th surprise birthday party. People are always mistaking Neal for Nelden. I just don’t see the resemblance, do you?
From Nelden’s party we headed up to Lila Mae’s for barbeque, bingo, horseshoes and great fireworks. Midway made the choice to go ahead with their planned firework show. It is great to be at Lila’s because the are right across the street from the Memorial Hill where the fire works are set off. Great seats and a fun time. Susan always has a bingo game going for the kids (and adults) and has lots and lots of prizes. She also provides a bag each year for the kids to put their treasures in. Les always sets up horseshoes for Lynda Ann and I to play against Les and Neal. Some pictures below of the celebration.
Les didn’t make any points on this throw but his two horseshoes landed exactly in a perfect U of U symbol. I had to take this picture for Tucker. Annie threw the first ringer for our side!
Neal helping Andrew fill his water balloons. And Emmi getting ready for the fireworks.
Andrew wishing us all a Happy Birthday America!!
