Neal and I had the opportunity to go to one of Jaden’s basketball games. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun to watch Jaden intensity on the court and to see his frustration when he doesn’t get passed the ball or get an opportunity to shoot. I was impressed with his tenacity and ‘go after it’ attitude. Jaden was not a happy camper after the game. I tried to get a picture of him when the game ended but he would have nothing to do with it so this was my best and only picture taken between quarters. He has another game next Saturday, which we are planning on going to. Good luck Jaden!
Boston is learning to crawl and scoot all over the place. It was almost as fun to watch him maneuver around the floor as it was to watch the game. He was headed for the piece of paper on the floor in front of him.
He not only pulls himself around on his tummy (not on all fours yet) but when he is sitting, he scoots on his bum and seems quite proud of his ability to get where he wants to go.
I tried getting a picture of Brock but couldn’t get him to hold still long enough to snap a picture. This was the best of all the shots I took. He is moving in every one of the others making the pictures blurry. Boston was much more cooperative!
After the game we went over to Maren and Greg’s home to see what they’ve been doing on the kids rooms. They’ve been working hard painting the kids rooms and doing wall decorations. Maren has a good taste for decorating. It was fun to see what she has done.
Taylor wasn’t at the game. She had been with her cousin at a cheerleading competition so we were able to see her when we stopped at the house. She is taking piano lessons and played a couple of tunes for us. It was fun to listen to her play. She is good and has a good touch. I hope she keeps up with it. It would be fun some day to have Jordyn, Lexi, Taylor and Mallory give our family a concert. Maybe this July or Thanksgiving when we are all together.
