Annie and I planned a trip back to Augusta, Georgia to see Emmi before she gets deployed to who knows where. She also has a new apartment off base and we wanted to see that as well. We met at the airport at 10:30 and began our all day journey to Augusta. Our plane left at noon and we flew to Fort Worth, Texas where we had a 3 hour lay over. We wandered around the airport for a while, then found a Mexican food place where we had a delicious dinner. Then back to our gate where Annie slept for about 1/2 hour and I read. We boarded the plane at 7:00 and arrived in Augusta at 10:10. Emmi was at the gate waiting for us. It was so good to see her and finally be here. We gathered our luggage and headed to Emmi's place. Of course we talked for a little while and then finally let our heads hit the pillows at midnight. We were all tired and I don't think there was anything said except "Good night, I love you" before everyone was sound asleep.
