Ron and Judy and Neal and I had tickets for Mary Poppins at the Tuacahn Amphitheater in St. George. We enjoy going to St. George with the Stanfields and are always looking for an excuse to do so. Ron had meetings for their condo association so we all went down Friday right afternoon. Friday night was the production and it was amazing. Very different from the Disney Movie. The story line is exactly the same but there were quite a few different songs in the Broadway production. Neal’s cousin was Mary Poppins and he was excited to see her perform.
Saturday morning while Ron was in his meetings, Neal corrected papers and Judy and I went shopping. We both love the “Life Is Good” products and they have a fun store in St. George where they sell Life Is Good exclusively. We found out that they are closing their doors and so we had to get in on their half off deals. We both bought a lot and it was sad to leave the store for the last time.
Neal and Ron played golf that afternoon and Judy and I opted to go lay out by the pool.
Sunday morning Neal and I went to sacrament meeting and then back to the condo where Judy had breakfast waiting for us. We straightened up the condo and then headed home. As we came into Payson, the Payson temple stood out like the temple in San Diego. You come around the bend in the freeway and all of a sudden it is there! You can’t help but notice it. Neal and I pulled off the freeway and drove up to the temple site to get a couple a pictures. It is an absolutely gorgeous temple! We found out they had just put Moroni on top the temple the week before. This stop was definitely the highlight of our trip!
