Memories are hard, at best, to record but I shall do my best to at least jot down some of the happenings of this years Christmas Eve celebration.
First thing to record is that we had a huge snow storm that moved in about 10:00 a.m. Tucker, Jamie and girls had stopped in St. George for the night and were finishing their long trip on Christmas Eve day planning that they would arrive about 1 or 2 p.m. They hit the storm from Cedar City on. They finally arrived about 4 p.m. On long treacherous drive for them. Lynda Ann said it wasnt bad coming in from Stansbury nor did Lyndsy have any problems. Maren and Mindy both said that the roads were horrible coming from the South part of the valley.
Everyone gathered at the house around 6:30 and the party began. Of course we had our annual Christmas Eve Dinner. Neal and I moved some furniture upstairs to make room for the 28 family members that would be present. It worked out beautifully.
I think I will post this much and do another page on the present opening. Lots of pictures to share.
