The only way I know to describe the changing of seasons in Utah is to think of a tug-of-war. Each season not wanting to give into the inevitable change that is coming. Each tugging hard not to give in. Winter wanting to hang in as long as possible and Spring beckoning the pansies, tulips and daffodils to make their appearance encouraging us to believe that winter won’t last forever. These are pictures of our weather today – from the moment I got up at 6:30 a.m. to view a winter wonder land until tonight at 6:30 p.m.
We had over a foot of snow fall during the night.
The temperature had gone back up to the upper 40’s and looking at the trees and the sky and feeling the warmer air you wouldn’t know we had just experienced a heavy snow fall with cold temperatures. These two pictures were taken when I got home from work. Amazing – Mother Nature!
